The midnight moon emitted a soft glow over the haze that layed over Chandrika. The day had been hot, the sun never taking its stare from the starving ground. But now a brisk wind swept through the trees and the dark clouds hung low in the sky. A distant rumble reached Jezzibelle's ears as she sat on the edge of the fountain. Although it was almost midnight, Jezzibelle was wide awake and wandering the city. It seemed as if she rarely needed sleep, and was always energetic and ready for anything. The distant thunder made her ears tune in to the sound, hoping that it would come closer. If it was one thing that Jezzibelle loved, it was rain. The pelting drops on her face seemed to make all her troubles go away. Her toes, white painted on her nails, skimmed the cool fountain water as she lounged on the side. Although she was alone, she was content. This wasn't to say that she didn't want anyone to talk to, but the silence didn't phase her either.
In her tank-top and shorts, she stood up to stretch her legs, walking around the fountain. Jezzibelle probably looked like a little kid, balancing on the edge of the fountain like this, but she didn't mind. She loved being strange and original and didn't mind if others thought her as childish or immature. She knew what was important to her and that is all that mattered. The sky rumbled again and Jezzibelle looked outside as a smirk appeared on her face. It was incredible what little and normal things could make her happy. Tiny drops of water started falling on the pavement, first lightly, then harder as the storm began to increase.
This is what she lived for. This feeling of exhiliration that nature could give. As she watched the rain, she felt sorry for all the people that couldn't find enjoyment from these simple things. All those people that were to consumed in their careers, their cars, their money, their troubles, their relationships, to be able to step back and just enjoy being alive. Jezzibelle was a pure optomistic and she liked it that way, it made life a whole lot easier. She just didn't understand why people worried about unimportant things that would dry up just like this rain would. With a shake of her head, she let all those thoughts go and just enjoyed the moment, jumping around and smiling like a kid. Not many people these days could go back to that.
Deep auburne hair swished lightly around as she studied her surroundings, emerald eyes illuminating to veiw each immaculate detail. There were some hanging around, but not many. It didn't bother her, just merely made her think of other things to do since there wasn't anyone around who wanted to meet her. The petite frame collapsed with some ease to perch upon the rim of the crystal fountain as she peered around to see what all she could do in a mall at night. Not much was her conclusion after a couple minutes of observing. And not much would cause her energy to melt down if she held it in for a long period of time, if she didn't do anything. Quite simply she brainstormed ideas, hoping that would atleast keep her vivid mind occupied for a while.
