Layla Popadopalis was a rather tall young woman, with shoulder-length light red hair and pale, milky blue eyes. She had a reasonable amount of freckles and a super-skinny frame, with delicate hands and fingers that handled horses so well. Right now she was stopping her car and getting out, to apply for a job here at this wonderful racing stable. She wanted to apply for a groom/excercise rider, for excercise riders were usually normal-sized people, and often were just one of the grooms out of the stable. Layla had grown up with horses, and had been to the races frequently with her family members, who once owned a string of horses they'd boarded here. So now, Layla locked her truck with a beep, strode purposefully up to the barn's main office and stepped up to the barn manager's office. "Hello?" she asked timidly, opening the door.

A rather petite figure was inside the office, sorting out papers and calculating the stables' bank account. Castle Rock Racing Stables was doing quite well in the races, especially since they had champions amung their midst. Yes, Teil's dream of having a stable that would be a part of the big time races was coming true with each race cycle that came around.
As she organized the paperwork both for the horses and for the owners of the horses, she thought about the next loop of races coming up. She was almost positive Jezzibelle Myers would enter her horses in more races, since she had quite a spectacular horse named Young Gold. She thought about Daniel and May Freid, who also had some pretty nice horses on their hands. Kendra seemed to be doing well too. All Teil could hope for was that the stable would expand soon.
Her thoughts were disrupted as a soft voice came from her door, probably from the girl who was standing there. "Yes? How may I help you?" she responded with a soft smile as she looked at the woman present.

Layla saw Teil working busily inside the office. "Hello, are you perhaps the owner of Castle Rock? I'd like to apply for a job." Layla said with a grin as she extended her hand warmly for a shake. The woman looked kind and warm, and Layla hoped that she was the owner.

"Yes, I am," she spoke softly before listening to the rest of what she had to say. As the girl stuck out her hand, she returned the gesture. "The only job open right now is a stablehand," she finished her thought as she checked something on her computer. "The job is from 9 until 6, and you can take breaks as long as you feed the horses, water the horses, and clean the aisles and tidy the tackrooms, which don't usually get messy." She explained the job in an overview of sorts.

Layla nodded. "I'd love to take it, and I also want to let you know that I am experienced rider and I could excercise ride if you want." she said with a grin. "But first, I'll accept the job for stablehand. I hope I am of service." Layla said with a nod. "What should I do first?" she asked eagerly.
